I am getting a "The Database MBrossman could not be accessed." error, HELP

I am getting a "The Database MBrossman could not be accessed." error, HELP

 

I have ACT 10, 2008 with all the updates downloaded. When I try to open my file from the original drive on a new computer I receive "The Database MBrossman could not be accessed. In order to access this database, check your network connection and verify that your database server is available. It may be necessary to disable any firewall software on your computer or the server." HELP!!! I have gone through all the tedious troubleshooting stuff and it still does not work. I am so frustrated with ACT! HELP!!!

Turn off firewalla / anti-virus software and try again.

 

Also, try to open the MBrossman.adf rather than the MBrossman.pad - in case your .pad file is corrupted in some way.

Turn off firewalla / anti-virus software and try again.

 

Also, try to open the MBrossman.adf rather than the MBrossman.pad - in case your .pad file is corrupted in some way.
