Does anyone have any tips on how to do with the SQL Server Express? Is there any limitation in using SQL Server Express as suppose to the read SQL Server?
Have anyone run the current version on a Citrix for ACT! multi-user?

we strongly recomend to upgrade the SQL to 2014, express is in most cases absulte fine.. only if you are above 30 users and/or your database is very big, then it might be recomended to update to SQL standard. In most cases we do not see performance Gain by using SQL Standard
Runing in a Citrix envoirment is no problem, (you should not run the SQL on that server) and i would strongly recomend to consider to Consult a ACC that did some Installs on Citrix as this may be tricky.

To go from V9 to V20 the best way is to uninstall ACT and SQL - Reboot - and then do a fresh installation. This will ensure the latest version of SQL that comes with ACT is installed. SQL Express is fine for all but the largest installations. (More than 30/40 Users or over 10GB of data.)
If you want people to access a database using citrix it is best to Host the database on another machine with the SQL installation and then ACT without SQL on the citrix server pointing to the ACT database.
