How to setup security to allow scheduling appointments for other users without being able to export to Excel

Regarding ACT 2011 premium, we need all users on the system to be able to schedule activities (appointments/to dos) for other users on the system. This capability is not available with the Standard security setting in ACT. We had to change the setting to Manager. However, as a Manager, users are allowed to export to Excel. Is there any way to allow users the capability of scheduling appointments for other users without being able to export to Excel?

Hello Miguelr,

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Online Community!

I've just tested a Standard user and am able to use the schedule for option.  You may need to have your users go to the Schedule > Grant Calendar Access option > set permissions to 'View and Schedule'.

That solved it. I didn't tink to look into the calendar sharing settings. Thank you Greg.
