Hello,
I notice the following behaviour.
I create a image field in my layout. I upload a png image file with transparency. The image renders good untill i click save. After that all the transparency becomes white.
How do I save an image with transparency in the background?
Thank you

what if you use a different file type such as .gif to maintain your transparency? On ocassion I have had probs with .png image files during my act!v17 pro db backup process. I have been avoiding .png file types. Jpg seem to be ok but not for transparency.

what color is your background?is it a solid color?
I am able to insert transparent gif images onto my layouts with white background and I am using
Act! Pro Version 17.1.169.0, Hot Fix 3...
Maybe it is how your transparent image was created? Maybe use a different software to create your transparent image?
Much of the time is use freeware http://www.animated-gif-creator.com/ animated gif creator version 1.2...... -

The best way to use a signature is to have the signature converted into a character in a custom font.

There are services that will convert a bitmap into a True Type font. try a google search.
