How to edit / delete the default auto population of Lookup dropdowns?

Act! Version 22.0.205.0, Update 2

Local DB that syncs w/ Act Hosting

Win 8

 

While using the Lookup | Company command the "Value" dropdown auto populates with previously searched companies.  I have several companies that I would like to omit.  Can this list be edited somewhere in Act?

As Andreas Schlesselmann states it cannot be changed as is part ofcoding in ACT.
