I had a problem on one of my users' machines. ACT would not open and gave a long error message starting with
'Resolution of the dependency failed, type = "Act.UI.ActApplication", name = "".'
I have a screen shot of the error window. Eventually the only way that I could enable that user to get into ACT was to uninstall ACT and the re-install without applying the latest update.
I believe that I should report this to Sage but there does not seem to be a way to do this without purchasing a support contract.
