How do I schedule an activity but make it tentative before the other party confirms. There seems to be that criterion on the availability tab but I can't figure how to assign that to my activity.
FYI I'm a single user (and a newbie to CRM) so I don't need all the bells and whistles that people with shared databases and assistants do. Using ACT 2010 premium

While there is not a method to put an activity in a tentative state when you create it, I would suggest you use a color code and/or custom priority to indicate an activity is tentative. To create a custom priority, go to Schedule > Manage > Priorities.
