Hi,
I have a list of about 2,000 email opt outs frpom Swift Page from over the last few years. All I have is the email list in excel of opt outs, this list doesn't have the persons name like ACT does. We haven't updated these on ACT as we've just always let them bounce. However now I want to. What's the best way to auto upload this so we don't have to manually do each one? Ideally it would be to have the Subscribe to newsletter field change to Opt Out, but if need be it could delete the email. Fine if the best solution is an add on. I think I can probably do this by importing the emails and having another excel column for opt out, however as this is a dramatic change to our database I want to be on the safe side and check if there's a better/safer way?
Thanks!

Hi Scott,
you can do this with our Import-it, it allows to search a contact with i.e. email adress and then update a field like a opt Out checkbox
this is the link to the manual, of import-it

Also take a look at oak merge. THeir Basic edition should do the trick for you.

Open Outlook. Click Contacts on the left-hand menu. In the "Current View" window, click the List option. Select the contacts you want to copy. ... Copy the selected contacts (CTRL+C). Paste the contacts into an Excel spreadsheet (CTRL+V). Save the file as XLS or CSV format.
