On an iPad for example, the ACT Mobile layout crashed when attempting to create a new Company, Opportunity, or Group.
It does not crash when trying to create a new Contact.
Both the Windows (PC) and APFW Browser (IE) work fine for all record creation types.
We have user Startup settings as 'Limited' based on their Team when creating new records. When we set to Public, the Mobile layout stops crashing when creating new records. Obviously we have Teams for reasons for security, permissions, etc.
So I'm assuming either:
A) The Mobile layout coding was corrupted during install, as it works for Contacts but not the other 3 record types, or
B) The Mobile layout coding isn't originally correct for non-Contact records and I can only hope ACT! fixes it?
It seems like whatever reference call it's making during record creation to the user's Startup settings is where it breaks. Ex. every record we create has the 'Access Changed: All users removed from list' for the permissions change.
We use ACT! v17.1.169.0 Hot Fix 3 with the 2/2015 Service Pack thrown in there too. I can replicate the error in the 2015 Demo DB, but I don't have a spare server (Server 2012 R2 OS, btw) to test and would really rather not reinstall.
Any thoughts on how to test if the Mobile Layout file is corrupted, or if it's a core coding issue? It's relatively easy to replicate the situation, even in a demo database.
Open to ideas, thanks!

How do I report this as a potential bug in the Mobile layout?
Thanks,
Luke
