Hi I just installed Act premium 2010 on my laptop computer and when trying to synch I get the error:
Unable to connect to sync server. Make sure accept incoming syncs is checked...
I read that if both laptop and desktop versions are not the same it will give this error.
Here is my problem: My laptop shows 12.0.409.0, Hotfix 3 and my desktop has 12.0.409.0, Hotfix 2.
When I do an auto update from my desktop it says it already has the latest vesion and hotfix 3 cannot be found anywhere on sage site.
Anybody know if this is coming out soon so I can sync?
Good news there seems to be a new hotfix coming.

Not having hot fix 3 isn't going to affect syncing. But to have the latest fixed, you can download hot fix 3 from the knowledgebase article below. Also try following the second article for your sync issue.
