on the HISTORY TAB, when the data rows are diplayed on the Web page version, it looks bunched up and untidy and difficult to select rows (very different from the desktop display which shows rows and the data contained in them

Been happening since the first Web version - ACT! 2005, and still seen in ACT! 2006 and ACT! 2007 and ACT! 2008 and ACT! 2009 and ACT! 2010 and now in ACT! 2011. They don't care.

Well I never. How ridiculous is that? All this time, they know about a problem, yet done;t know how to fix or will not invest anytime in resolving.
User power is underestimated and never to be ignored.......
We will be looking to remove the Web version because of this and go back to Desktop........
SAGE, sort it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure why you're experiencing that problem because it doesn't match my experience. We've used ACT! for the web for our business database to leave the desktop version free for development and support. I've been accessing the ACT! for web database for about 5-years now and I've never experienced the problem you showed in your screen shot. My usage has included several different version of ACT ro the web, both XP and Windows 7 as the underlying OS and different version of IE.My best guess is that it's related to the display adapter or driver. By chance are you using the large fonts setting?
As far as fixing the problem, it's not a universal problem so what causes the problem needs to be identified before it can be fixed.

Tried to change the browser fonts, nothing changed. We use different Laptops, Desktops, Operating systems (XP, Vista, Win7, 32bit, 64bit etc) and differnt IE versions 7,8 etc.
Might try Firefox or Chrome to see if that makes a difference.......
Really please with your responses so far, very helpful.......
