I made 143 calls yesterday and had notes under my call activities and this morning when I came it the alarm pulled up to do follow ups and I selected all the contacts i had called the day before and cleared the alarm. Now all my notes are gone. I dont understand why that is because I never cleared the activities just the alarm. Is there anything that I can do?

Unless you are doing something with the database or in the wrong database, or some one else is deleting stuff, it's unlikely that they are just gone.
How did you enter them? when you make a call, usually you want to do a record history (Control H) and enter your call results therel. then the history shows up on the history tab of hte record.
Try this, go to lookup, contact activity and look for things changes since yesterday and if that brings up the contacts, then look at notes, histories, activites for yoru stuff.

Have you checked your filters within the notes? Make sure you have them set to all dates all users. Also if you enter a brand-new note today can you find?

Let me rephase; When I have a customer on the calendar for Monday, I highlight the customer and click on the Call button at the top of the screen. I type in my comments from the call, and go to the next on the list. The next day, the calls show up on the right side of the calendar page. It seems to save the calls on the following day.
When I go to the customer page, the latest activities box shows the day after when the call was made, but nothing under the Activities, History, or Notes tab.
Again, the calendar, right side column show the notes.

The Call button at the top is the place to schedule a call in the future, not a place for the recording of the results of the current call. My sugestion when making a call is to clear the currently scheduled call. this will make a history.
The way it sounds like you are doing it is to create multiple activities on your calendar for the same event.
I"m curious. go to one of the contact records after you have done this. (from the calendar, rigtht click on a item and choose go to contact) then on the activity tab for the contact, do you see multiple events?
The fact that items are showing up on your right side of the calendar is most likely do to your settings for calls. the next time you hit the call button, pay attention to the date that is listed and the time. It's it's timeless, it will show up on the right.
