I followed your instructions to a T to import an excel spreadsheet and after it went to the box: Import Data .... then it said "Preparing to Import" and was at that point for about 30 seconds and then the box disappeared and nothing was imported.
I am using a Text (tab delimited) file. Excel Professional version 2003. Act is 2009, version 11. Software in on the server.
What can I possibly be doing wrong??? Help!
I have imported from excel spreadsheets in the past and never had a problem, but can't seem to do this on this newer version.

I am able to import the files i need-but it's importing the city state zip and phone in the wrong areas. I am mapping the fields with each other, and I can't figure out how this is happening. Advice anyone?
