Help ACT 2007 Premium database issue / sync

I have a problem where a user's database was recreated but he did not sync before this was done. I know that database cannot be sync but if I could create a copy and rename it so the user could us it to recreate his changes/updates. For some reason I get error messages when I try to copy the database and if i try to create a backup.

 

I would be very greatful for any suggestions.

Create a new Sync database for the user and once installed on their PC, merge the old with the new. Take care to backup and not to overwrite the old database.
