I have two databases in my Act Premium 2009.
I can easily attach emails to one of them. But the other gives me an error message when I try.
It says "The ACT! database cannot be accessed. Close and reopen ACT!, then log on to the database again. ...."
I set up the email configuration properly (I believe). I also have no problem opening and working in ACT! with both databases. So, there doesn't appear to be any issue with my general use of ACT!.
The problem simply is .. when I try to attach an email to the 2nd of my two databases, I get this error.
Nothing I have done has been able to resolve it.
Does anyone have any thoughts?

1. ACT! by Sage Premium 2009 (11.0) Version 188.8.131.52, Hotfix 1 English (United States)
2. Microsoft Outlook 2007 (12.0.6514.5000) SP2 MSO
3. I followed the steps found under Help, Feature Tours, Setting Up E-mail. (I added both databases where this is done.)
Did you need to know anything else? I hope I provided you with what you wanted.

What steps are you using to attach the email? Ie where do you have the problem.
Some of the automated attaching will only attach to the default database.

In my status bar, a small icon appears with a red x, indicating that it couldn't automatically attach certain emails (I am supposing that this is correct.)
I then click on the icon and it opens a window for manually attaching the emails.
In this process, I have the ability to choose which database I want to assign the email to. For example, I have GARYMGORDON as one, and EBLUECOUPONS as another. When I change databases (from the drop down menu), it displays a different list of contacts, which are currently in the database. I then select the contact that I want to have the email associated to, and that's when I get my error message.
