Groups made from Lookups - how find how original lookup made and edit?

Act! Premium Version 19.0.147.0, Update 5 on server; Win 10.

Lookups made into Groups in past.

Would like to edit the lookup that was used to make up the Group.

I cant see how the complex lookup was made (each one has many steps), or how to edit the lookup.

I see Groups can be duplicated . . .

grateful for pointers - person who made lookups severely sick . .

Many thanks,

Re: Groups made from Lookups - how find how original lookup made and edit?

This very much depends on if it is a dynamic group or static group.

Firstly if dynamic group - in the group - Go to Add - Remove Contacts. If a dynamic lookup the lookup will be showing that is used.

If a static group the person may have saved the lookup they created to form the group -

In the contact view select lookup from the top menu and then Query - Advanced Query. Now click on File - Open in the top left within the wizard. If the query was saved it should be there but there maybe a number of them so I hope they were easily named.

Lastly they may have done a lookup and not saved it or put contacts in 1 by 1. In this case there is no way to find the criteria except by looking at the contacts in the group and trying to work it out.

Hope your answer is in one of first 2 answers as the last one is going to be very difficult to fathom.

Good luck.

just the ticket - it was the 1st scenario.  I can now work through the changes needed.
