I posted this issue at firstname.lastname@example.org and the were clueless. We only have this problem on the terminalserver and the problem started in V12 and is still there in V13 (2011)premium. The only solution they came up with, was to minimize ACT before you move from your terminal desktop to your local desktop. Is that a solution? They must have made a programming change concerning the display a year ago.

I have the exact same issue. Never seen the GDI error unless remoting into the server. Was their ever a fix for this? Im using Sage ACT! Premium 2011 Version 184.108.40.206, Hot Fix 2

Has anyone tried with Windows 7 SP1 installed ?
Also I would recommend to install this particular hotfix:

ACT has had this problem for a while now but it is platform + environment specific. ACT 2011 on Windows 7 & Server 2008 platforms seems to be more problematic. It also seems to have some relationship with what other programs are running on the machine or server. If you search on Google for "GDI Objects are not releasing" the same issue is affecting a large number of programs and it looks like Microsoft are more implicated than Sage.
I would like to see a Sage comment on this thread as it does need sorting out.
For now my only suggestion is searching on "GDI Objects are not releasing" to see if some of the fixes others have found on different programs will work with ACT!
