We have a number field that is displaying as 100000. If we set the type to Number, it displays as 100,000.00.
We want 100,000. Is there a format command that can do this? Anybody have sample code? Thanks!

Try this ACT! Knowledge Base article -

Thanks Mike but thatarticle does not seem to apply to ACT 2011.
I dont have the options that are shown. The only option is Number and that puts 2 characters to the left. I was hoping that someone had a vbscript example. I can't seem to get one to work.
This report writer has a 1997 smell to it....

That KB document is valid for ACT! 2005 and later. However those properties use Windows system settings and can't be individually changed. To accomplish what you want you need to have the field added to the report template as you have done and then you need to hide the field (height and width aren't important just so they are a value greater than zero). Then you add a custom field to the template and use a Visual Basic script statement to display and format the field as currency with the desired decimal places.
