Fix the error that happens when editing multiple records.

This error has been consistent accross all versions of Act! since we started using it in 2007. when editing multiple records (say a couple thousand) an error pops up that says:

Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection. Parameter name: index.

This error occurs repeatedly until the records are all updated. Now there's a great idea, fix it instead of adding new features!

Re: Fix the error that happens when editing multiple records.

This is likely to be some bad data or damaged preference file

I've seen this once fixed by deleting the Preference files. Don't forget to delete the preferencebak.xml files (theres a few of them).

Filing that, Actlog.xml might provide a better error message.

The problem occurs across multiple machines, so I'm pretty sure it's not the preferences.

Is there anything specific I should be looking for in the logs?
