Field Tracking in History

Hi,  I am using ACT! 2009 Premium and would like to know if it is possible to change the ''tracking'' of a field in the history.  For example, I created a field that contains the current version of a software our client uses.  I would like, when this field's data is modified, to have a history recorded (in the history tab, of course)

In Tools | Define Fields, make the field a History field.
