Field Doesn't Appear in Search List

I have a custom field titled SOLD DATE that was created over a year ago.  You can see the data in the field, but when I go to search on it, it doesn't appear in the list.  I checked the field in all the layouts and it's there, defined as SOLD DATE.  What can be happening?  I've searched this field many times...

 

Using ACT Premium 2012.

If you right-click on the that field, do you have an option to "Lookup Sold Date"?
