I am located off site and just received a message that I need to sync my database or risk loosing any updates that i have made. Since I am located remotely this is not possible. Is there any way that my database expiry date can be extented without creating a new remote database? Thanks

On newer versions of ACT ( I think at least after 2010), the message is just a warning. You should be able to sync once you get back.
However syncing frequently is a best practice and to not do so can expose you to unnecessary risk.
