Exporting group + Subgroup to excel

I have a group set up : midwest companies.

I tried to export that group (subgroups are each state) but it's not working. I try to create  look up of the group and it won't work.

I can only create a look up if I got to each individual subgroup which is time consuming.

any ideas?

You want the criterria to say OR not AND. Or says NY or CA not NY and CA.  You can't have more than one state at once.  try changing that.

Re: Exporting group + Subgroup to excel

If I understand you correctly, you have a group midwest states and a subgroup off of this group which has the individual states.  You would like to export the contents of eaco of the individual supgroups all at once instead of having to go and do each subgroup individually.

Your best bet would be to create a dynamic criteria for the parent group midwest states and within that have all of the individual status so the one group looks up all the states in your territory.

Group membership (or company membership) does not flow up to the parent group.

Re: Exporting group + Subgroup to excel

Thanks I did try that and it doesn't work.

Weird thing.

I create the dynamic criteria starting with the first state (I tried, equals to, ends with, contains etc) let's say: NJ for New Jersey. I press preview and it lists those companies.

Next, I add another dynamic criteria , NY, to the list and press preview. it says no contacts.

here seems to be a conflict. I don't know what it is. The dynamic criteria list is saying, "AND" at the end of each criteria added  so that's not the issue
