Exporting Secondary Contacts

Is there any way to export the seconday contacts?  Some of the secondary contact fields where used for another purpose.  I created a new tab with the info I need and now need to move the seconday contact info.  I will take any suggestion to get the data out of the database (one I get it out, I can play with the data).  I tried to write a report, that didn't seem to do it for me (couldn't make it wide enough).   (and no, I do not want to buy something new for this).

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have over 1200 contacts with them, so copy/paste is really not doable (it's probably over 3,000 secondary contacts).

Re: Exporting Secondary Contacts

Did you look where I indicated? That allows a block copy of the entire lookup.

I thought that was a one by one type of thing.  I'll give it a try on my test database to see how it works.  I'll let you know what happens. Thanks.

Re: Exporting Secondary Contacts

Do you know if there is any kind of move function like the copy function.  The problem I have is that since some records have multiple secondary contacts, I need to go through and manually delete all the ones that have moved (and it doesn't always copy the first one on the list [seems a bit random, but I'm sure there is an order]).  Then I can run through the copy procedure again.  But with a few thousand of these, it's a slow procedure.

Re: Exporting Secondary Contacts

Swap Fields should do that if the target field is blank.

Re: Exporting Secondary Contacts

The Secondary Contact fields are not available in either the swap or replace functions.

Re: Exporting Secondary Contacts

What version of the ACT! program are you using? Before I posted my reply I tested it with ACT! 11.1 premium.

I am using ACT premium v11.0.  The version says Version 11.1.183.0.
