Exporting Notes from ACT 2008!

Does anyone know of a way to export notes to a word or excel file from ACT 2008! Premium?

Exporting data like Notes is a bit tricky... what do you want to do with it?

You could create a report and save to a file or use something like itExport if you need more control

You can export Notes from ACT! easily without having to resort to additional addon software such as itExport by simply getting the 15 day free trial version of the well known software, Companionlink Express (refer www.companionlink.com ).

Companionlink Express allows full functionality within the trial period and if you choose to continue beyond the trial period it is very cost effective. You could use it to synchronise ACT! with Outlook on an ongoing basis

You can easily download and install Companionlink Express and export Contact, Notes and History to Outlook contacts and then it is very easy to export from Outlook to a csv file (e.g. Excel spreadsheet). The advantage of products like Companionlink are they are very cost effective and have historicaly not required you to update to a new version each time you upgrade ACT! Whereas the expensive but more comprehensive specialised software products such as itExport.
