Exporting - Grayed Out - Why?

Hello

 

I'm trying to export my contacts using File > Export but the import/export options are grayed out....why? 

 

I'm using a remote database hosted by RTGroup and running Sage ACT! Premium 2012 Version 14.1.108.0, Hot Fix 5

 

What am I missing?

Welcome to the Sage ACT! Community. There are two possibilities:
- You are logged into the database as a Standard level user. Only Managers and Admins and can use Import/Export. However, you may still be able use the Export to Excel option from the Contact List view.
- The hosting company may have disabled this option

I figured it out.  My admin didn't have my user authority set high enough for export.  But now it is....so problem solved.  Thanks for the answer.
