Attached is a screen shot of the Outlooks Preference screen under Tools. You can see that nothing is displayed.

when I try and open the demo database I get this:

Hi,

Can you try recreating the preferences? Please a take a backup before doing the same.

Start run> Then type %appdata% in the dialogbox. If this is Windows 7 or Vista Type Run in the Start Search Box
Double click on the ACT folder
Double click the ACT for windows {version number} or ACT Data folder
Rename the Preferences folder and the preferenceBak.xml preferenceBak3.xml, preferenceBak6.xml, preferenceBak9.xml files.

I still get the same error message after doing this. A new Preference folder is created and so are new preference XML files but still same error message

 

I'm using Windows 10 if that has any bearing.
