Error when trying to create a report

Hi there,

I have recently upgraded my system to windows 7 from XP at work. I use ACT version 11.0.0.367 and all was well when running reports until now. Proven fact is i have just gone back to my old pc, used by another person now, logged in and all was fine again.

I open the report launcher as normal..get the report template that i and others alays use, select All contacts and OK

Report then asks me for login details so type them. Click OK

Next i should normaly be able to give a date etc and receive a report. Instead now i get the error message:

Unable to get the window handle for the 'AxCRViewer9' control. Windoelwss ActiveX controls are not supported.

can anyone assist?

many thanks in advance.

Re: Error when trying to create a report

couple things. ACT v11 is not supported by Windows 7. This could be part of your problem.

Also, ACT reports do not require you to login.  You must be using a crystal report viewer.

Your problem (assuming both will work with Windows 7, which I doubt), is with the Crystal report viewer.

Only thought would be to make sure UAC is off in Windows 7.
