Act! Premium Version 21.0.295.0, Update 4 with MS Word for Office 365 MCO (16.0.11029.20045) 64-bit error when mail merge printing an .adt template ..."Act! This method or property is not available because a document window is not active."
Opening Word does not correct the issue.

Problem is known to me. It is specific to 64-bit-Office environments.
The only way to heal it is to uninstall Office 64, uninstall ACT!, install Office 32-bit, re-install ACT!.

Agreed, but we learned the hard way that the only way to overcome these problems is not to even mention the alleged 64-bit compatibility and not to "allow" 64-bit installations in combination with ACT!. We simply do not support 64-bit installations as it is difficult enough to cope with all the issues around the 32-bit versions.

Same error here using Word 2016 32-bit with Act v21.0.295.9 Update 5.
Tried merging to Word and direct to printer without success.
Even tried the WordConnect plug-in and get a different error without a response from their support.
This error is sort of new and pretty rare.
It can happen with x64 or x32 versions of Office.
Swiftpage are aware of it and are working to find a resolution.
Unfortunately, the sudden rush to replace the licensing module has tied most resources for the past few months.
There is a workaround ... Do the merge to Wordprocessor, then print it.
I've asked them to at least put up a KB article till a fix can be delivered.
