Error printing an unsent email

Error printing an unsent email

When writing and email and then trying to print it before sending, ACT email encounters an error and closes.  The email, unless already saved in the draft folder, is lost.  Is there a fix for this?

We use the Act email client.

"ActEmail.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience.
If you were in the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost."
 
When I click close, it closes the the email window.  If I try to restart email from act I get the following message.
 
"Act! cannot find any installed e-mail carriers on this computer.  You haven't set up any e-mail systems.  You will need to install e-mail on this computer before you can send or receive e-mail in Act!."
 
I have to shut down Act! and restart then everything is OK.
