I recently made some edits to a contact form and now get the stated error in the subject. I've also noticed that before, there used to be a button beside the "Contact" field with three dots "..." which allowed me to click on it - now that's no longer there. I also had a "Household" field with the same ... beside it as a button and that's gone too - perhaps accidentally removed them dunno.
Anyways, anyone know how I can track down why this error is happening?
Thanks

Hi Jag,
By contact form, do you mean the normal contact record detail view, or another kind of form i.e. lead capture form?
If you mean the detail view:
The ellipsis button not displaying could be caused by your DPI settings: http://kb.swiftpage.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/25721
The object reference error may be due to several reasons. There's an article that specifically covers it when using the layout designer: http://kb.swiftpage.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/24350
Do you also get the issues in any other databases?
Do you have a backup before you made the edits to the layout?

The error on the contact form seems to be gone, now I only get it when closing Act which I understand is an issue everyone on Windows 10 is experiencing? You were also correct, higher DPI setting resulted in those buttons not being displayed.
Man, really wish Swiftpage would get their act together and update the software to accomodate high resolution displays. It's the only app left that I use which won't support high res.

Thanks, already following that thread - hope someone comes up with a solution soon.
