User trying to duplicate an opportunity:
Highlights the opportunity, clicks "duplicate opportunity", selects "copy all fields" and this pops up:
"Error saving a custom entity: PRODUCT_SERVICE
It creates a blank opportunity with the same opportunity name - but no data.

You first need to determine is this database specific so I would test in the demo database. If problem does not happen then what fields have been modified in Opportunities would be the next place to look.

Please download Service pack 1 for ACT! 2012, this should fix the issue for you
