Receiving this error message when trying to edit templates for mail merge. Cicking Continue leaves the Act! Reading Document message hanging on screen. Any help appreciated.

Hi, Is this installed version of act or cloud?
If it is cloud, did you tried reinstalling .net and mail merger?
Did you tried reinstalling from different admin profile?

If it is windows 7, you can go to programs and features and reinstall .net, then reinstall web integration
If it is windows 10, uncheck .net 4.7 from turn windows features on/off under programs and features.do not uncheck .net 3.5.
Once the .net is reinstalled, clean the registry and reinstall web integration from windows admin profile.
Make sure there is no files left over from older version of web integration and offline in registry.
