We had our sync packets operating fine 7 days ago come back from conference and now this error message.
'Unable to check if schema is available for sync. Synchronisation is timed out. Contact admin for assistance'
can anyone explain and resolve

I had the same problem with ACT 2008 (ACT 10).
I made the sync available for 365 days.
From the other side, i made a macro for reindex the main data base every day, but i saw if you don't reindex rdb data base you have the same problem...but you can't reindex because rdb is usually made for standard user and they are n ot allowed to "touch the data base".
I ll be very happy if you've got solution.
