I am getting the same error. Just started yesterday. Been using ACT for about 6 years with few problems. What is strange about this error is that it is happening on two clients from two different locations when we attempt to sync with the server. Two others from two other locations sync as normal with no problem.
Version: ACT! by Sage Premium 2009 (11.0) Version 220.127.116.11, Hotfix 4
Sync file from today from one of the two clients not working:

You just responded to your own response from last year, so it would appear you have had the error before. Did you get this solved last year and it has returned?
Usually a CRC is a read/write error. Either the data was malformed, or not functioning. This is often an error with the storage type you've chosen (Bad hard-drive, or invalid location).
