We have a issue with admin leave feilds empty and dont want to fix it by forcing them to always put an entery for a feild but would like it so it will atleast remind them its should be filled in, just wondering if anybody knows of an add-on that would help us here.
Just so it comes up with a warning message feild x is empty are you sure you want to continue kind of thing.

If you click into Tools > Define Fields, one of the options for each field is "Allow Blank" which is checked by default. If you uncheck this then users have to put something in the field before they can save the contact record, which is OK providing the users always have something to put in these fields!
A less draconian method is to colour the background of the important fields bright yellow, or whatever ( Tools > design layouts) as a visual reminder that these fields are important

Yeah I did not really want to do it the first way, to force people to insert something simpley as there maybe a good reason to not want to put something in.
But really wanted a reminded that it should normally be filled in as people just are not doing it, unfortunatly with the colour coding side of it although I think it would help there are a few feilds that need doing and it takes the importance away then, was hoping for more of an annoying message popup so it can be left blank if need be but pays for the people using Act to add what should be there so the annoying message dont come up.
