Hi all
well its happening again, no idea whats going on but any email sent from a 3rd party program will not link to the database, it does note even going into the "attach to ACT" widget
So if you mail merge from MS Word it does not attach, or send an email using File ->Send -> email receipiant from for example Adobe Acrobat it still does not work the only emails it appears to link are normal outlook emails and those sent from with ACT
Please advise as this is a major problem for me now.

I understand that that's the way it works at this time.
You might post a request for this feature to be considered for a future version here -

Input from this web page goes directly into a database that management has direct access to read, and which they also track and gather statistics on. It also allows other users to vote on these so Sage can get an idea of the demand
This article might help word the request to make it easier for management to look at it:

Yep i dont a monthly acount statement for wont of a better term and a weekly summary for select clients, last time this happened was during beta testing and once it went to full version it was fine but now nothing....i wonder if it co-incides with me installing the hotfix???
The Act dude who replied tried to replicate it and he said in the message that it appears Outlook was not loading the plugin when emails sent this way.
As a possible work around do you know if its possible when doing a mail merge to select the emails stay in draft box and not go directly to the out box???

Jsut thinking about the problem maybe thats why it does it, i notice when i do a merge with in ACT it dumps them into the Draft Box before feeding them to the Out box where as MS Word Mail Merge goes direct to Outbox therefore bypassing the plugin, widget thingo
I will try that out

Ok got a work around for this
If you turn off the wireless internet all the mail merge emails stay in the Outbox then move them to the Draft box and resend this then links them all to the database
Thanks for the idea
