In the act schedule for Act Premium version 19.2.146.0 update 1 on my server - we can send a test email for backup confirmation and it always goes thru as a test. Once the scheduler is closed it seems to drop the credentials of my email password. Any ideas?

Is it forgetting the other information such as the outgoing SMTP server name and port or just the password field?

seems to be just password it is reverting to a previous one. I retype just password and the test works again.
The smtp server name and ck boxes in use ssl and my smtp remain checked.

Do you happen to use SSL? as this will not work via the Act Scheduler.
KB 38116 - Act Scheduler fails to send email alerts when configured to send through SSL connection

Yes we do use SSL - Does Act have this as an enhancement request?

It is presently standing as an open defect and do not presently have a date of resolution.
for your reference here is the defect number D-05626
The current work around at this moment would be to setup the email alerts with email account that does not use SSL.
