Email addresses not transferring to Outlook



I recently converged two ACT databases using the Import feature in ACT 2011.  All the data transferred fine in ACT but in my Outlook 2007, none of the email addresses from the merged database are showing up in the ACT address book.  The ACT source database email addresses are appearing in Outlook in the address book.  I have removed the ACT address book from Outlook and added it again; did not help.  I need to have the email addresses that were just imported into the ACT database to appear in the address book in Outlook.
