Email History

I've set the my ACT database to send emails using Outlook.  However, when I send an email, the history isn't being recorded or if it is, there is a delay.  Any ideas why?  I'm using ACT! 2007 Premium.

Re: Email History

Yes it is.  I should've mentioned before that ACT is deployed in a Citrix environment.  I believe it has something to do with that, but I'm not extremely familiar with Citirix so I don't know what to check.  The strange thing is that it was working before and all of a sudden stopped.

Re: Email History

goto task manager, select the processes tab, check for act.outlook.services.
if you donot find it, goto c:\program files\act\act for windows. look for act.outlook.services, double click on it
there will be no window
go back to task manager, check if act.outlook.services is listed
try to send a new mail, check if the history is getting recorded
also in the history tab, make sure all dates, all types and all users is selected

Re: Email History

It can take a minute to add the history as this is done as a background task.

You also need to refresh the screen to see it in the history - Ctrl-F5
