We are running 2013 Premium for Web.
When a different user (ie. a sales manager) adds a note to an opportunity, the record manager (in our case the salesperson) is not aware of that, unless they go in to each opportunity and look at the date/time of the note at the top of the list. Our sales managers would like to have an email notification sent to the record manager/salesperson when they add a note to an opportunity.
Currently the solution is to show the 'Edit Date' and 'Last Edited By' columns in the Opportunity list view and t have the salespeople sort the date column. Not very efficient and any changes made to any field in the opportunity will be represented as the last edit, whether it was a note or something as unrelated as adding a user to the limited access list.
I am somewhat new to the program and have combed through smart tasks to no avail. Does anyone have any suggestions, native or add-on? Thank you in advance.
