Duplicate contacts

I am trying to add a couple thousand property addresses to ACT Prem 2008.  Many of the properties have the exact same owner (Contact).   I actually want the duplicate owner names (and the property address) to show up within ACT.   As I import the entire Excel list, ACT will only allow the first property address (for those properties that have the same owner) to import into ACT, the remainder are not imported.  Essentially trying to treat the "property address" in place of the "Contact" information in a commercial brokerage situation.

Any out there have a work around for this situation?

Re: Duplicate contacts

You need to disable duplicate checking.

- Go to Tools and select Preferences

- On the General tab, click Duplicate Checking

- Uncheck "Enable duplicate checking in the database."
