Double entry when pasting text into lookup field

When I paste text using Ctrl-V into the "contains" field in a contact look up, it double pastes the data.   I don't have this problem when pasting data into any other fields (yet).  If I use right click, it works fine, but that's more steps.  I have tried two different keygboards, so I know that's not the problem.

Re: Double entry when pasting text into lookup field

I'm trying to reproduce this situation - can you provide some additional information:

- What version of Act! are you running?

- What program are you copying from?  Are you using 'Ctrl-C' to copy?

- Is this through the installed Act! program or through Web access?

2011

Generally text from pages in Firefox, Outlook, or Adobe PDF files

Yes

Installed Act

(on a side note, I'm looking for the documentation telling me how to install Premium for web access on a server, can you point me in the right direction?)

Re: Double entry when pasting text into lookup field

I've been trying to reproduce this with both the V13.0 and V13.1 builds, but can't get it to duplicate.  Can you provide a screenshot to make sure I'm using the same method?

Assuming you have multiple Act! users - can you get someone to test this on a different computer?

As for the Web, here is an article with a download of the Web Admin's Guide: KB Article 26795
