Document templates read only

Act 2013, Build Version 15.0.301.0, word 2007, (Templates in Word 2003)

 

When we call up edit template, it shows up as read only and we cannot change it and save it

 

Any idea what might be going on, and how to fix?

lots of comments on this error in this forumn, but the only one I've seen to work has been to Save a backup, Delete the original, and do a restore as to the exact same location.  this will break all your sync databases if you have them, so if you have a sync environment, don't do it.

 

However, for LAN or web, this fixes the issue.  The problem is essentially permissions, but i've not been able to resolve any other way.

Just ran into this with Act Premium 2013 and MS Word 2010 (Windows XP computer).  Did the hotfix take care of this?  Or is there something else?  Didn't see it on the KB.  Thank you.
