Delete a contact within a group

Hello all. This is my first post. I am very happy to find this forum!

Can anyone tell me how I can delete contacts within a group? I have Act Premium 2006.

Thanks a bunch!

Re: Delete a contact within a group

Not sure if you want to delete the contacts that are in a group from the database or just remove contacts from being part of a Group.

To delete all contact that are in a group go to View Groups /Comapnies at the top right of the contact screen - select the group and they become your look-up. Now select Ctrl and Del buttons on your keyboard and you will have the option to delete the look-up. WARNING WHEN THEY ARE GONE THEY ARE GONE FROM YOUR DATABASE.

To simply remove Contacts from being a member of a group select the Groups/Companies Tab in the middle of your screen - Select "Add conatct to Group" this will take you to the area you can add or remove contacts from groups. The contacts remain in your database.

Hope this helps

ACT DESIGN TEAM - Design change needed here so that Tab option states "Add or remove contact to groups".
