Defualt Phone Format

Hi,
 
we are using ACT Premium EX and trying to change the defualt Phone format to a specific country, so as to keep the country code standard for new database/contact. It is getting changed from "Lookup> My record and then change the Phone format and then change the country and you save this setting" but then if you try to add a new contact it is going to the country code which was set at the time of installation.
 
How can we change it to desired country again.

We even set the country for the user from the same procedure as mentioned earlier and then saved the changes and then trying to add new contact it goes back to the initial country code.
 
If there is any thing we are missing.

Have you tried creating a new database and seeing what happens?

It refers to a Sweedish OS issue, but the data maybe wrong on your system?

I have heard some phone formatting issues fixes by turning on the Preference to "Always Display Country Code" save it and then change it back.
 
Another thought... are you using a non-English OS?
