Hello everyone. We're using Act! Premium 2009 (version 11), and I've looked through the messages to see if this has been addressed, and have not found a topic on it yet. I'm wondering if there is a way to have a default group or lookup be loaded, based on the user? So, John Smith loads Act, and his lookup is lookup_A, but Jane Smith loads Act, and her lookup is lookup_B. Is there a way to do this?

Thanks. I do have several dynamic groups created, and each user knows how to load that group manually. We're running several users over a T1 line, and when Act loads, it loads all 35,000 contacts, instead of the 500 to 1000 contacts that would be specific to each user's interest. It is kind of sluggish, until they load their group. Thanks.

You can also play with teams and limited access. But if you limit a user to 500 contacts, he won't be able to work with other contacts anymore....
