I am helping out a friend with this program and I am completely stumped by their issue. Please read all of this to get an idea of what's going on.
They updated from a previous version of ACT and now they are on 2011. Everything is fine except the date and time format is DDMMYY instead of MMDDYY. We reinstalled (as per other peoples suggestions) and made sure to choose USA region and it is still the same.
I have also tried to rename the ACT Data folder (also per other's suggestions) and it works temporarily. What i mean by that is when the program gets loaded up and defaults to the last account that was opened, it will display incorrectly but if i close the database but not close ACT and re-open the SAME database it will work. There is only 1 database and this makes NO sense.
The date and time format is correct in Windows and the region settings in previous version of ACT and this one have always been USA.
Please any info that would fix this issue will be MUCH appreciated!!
