I am using ACT2012
I cannot backup or Save As due to an error that occurs. I have run all repair options and they error as well ...
This is following error message issue: cannot insert duplicate key row in object 'syssyscommitab' with unique index 'si_xdes_id'. The duliate key value is (668355).Failed to flush the commit table to disk in dbid 6 due to error 2601. ....
How can I get this fixed ?

That may be a know problem. Make sure you have akk service packs and hotfixes installed and see if the problem persists. If it does search the knowledge base for the error.

My version level is: Version 18.104.22.168
If I click the Update ACT in the Help menu ... it does nothing.
How do I find out whether I have the latest updates and hot fixes ?

Go to the ACT! web site act.com and check the downloads for your version to see if there's any hotfixes.
Howfixes must be downloaded and manually installed,

In About ACT! any installed hotfixes will be listed after the build number.
