I need to be able to restrict access to specific dashboards and reports on a per user basis.
Does anyone know how can I enable this in Act 2012 Premium?

Hi all, does anyone have any ideas how to do this? Is there a way, for example, of editing security roles or defining new permissions to achieve this?
Any suggestions, no matter how technical, welcome.

Not sure about dashboards but there isn't any security setting to restrict access to reports so that any report templates that are in the reports folder of the database supplemental files can be run by any user. However, a report templat can be stored and run from anywhere, either the server of the local workstation.

Thanks Roy, that helps regarding reports - I will just remove them... users who need them can run them directly.
Dashboards don't seem to work that way - you can delete them obviously, but you can't seem to run them from another location.
Any ideas for workarounds?

Sort of. If you get Topline dash licenses for the users that heed to run the restriced dashbords they would be the only users that could run those dashboards all others would be restricted to the ACT! dashboards.
Topline Dash is a third party dashboard plugin and I am a reseller.
